Our Charge Controller range insures the batteries are charged correctly and protects it from overcharging the batteries. Simple charge controllers stop charging a battery when they exceed a set high voltage level, and re-enable charging when battery voltage drops back below that level. Charge controllers may also monitor battery temperature to prevent overheating.

Ideal for most solar systems, utilizes PWM Control for maximum efficiency combined with temperature compensation for a wide range of operating temperatures. Suitable for standard Lead-Acid Batteries, as well as Gel, Sealed and Flooded type. In-built protection for short-circuit, overload and over-charging.

 

Why do I need one ?

A charge controller, or charge regulator is basically a voltage and/or current regulator to keep batteries from overcharging. It regulates the voltage and current coming from the solar panels going to the battery.
